The RFMF Autumn School will take place from October 23 to 26, 2023, in the enchanting setting of Domaine Lyon Saint-Joseph, located in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon. This peaceful and bucolic place, once a seminary dedicated to 20th-century philosophers, will offer you a unique experience. You will be surrounded by a vast expanse of 5 hectares of greenery, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere conducive to reflection and learning.

Please note: The event is open to RFMF members under the age of 33. You can settle your RFMF membership fee during your registration if it is not up to date for the year 2023.

The registration fee is €350 (€365 if your RFMF 2023 membership fee is not up to date). This price includes: lectures, meals, and accommodation. Transportation is not included in the registration fee.

Junior participants wishing to attend the school will be automatically enrolled in the Flash Comm' session, during which they will have the opportunity to present their thesis topic in 3 minutes with visual support (1 slide). In addition, participants can also apply for a 20-minute oral presentation slot (15 minutes of presentation followed by 5 minutes of questions). Slides must be in English, but the presentation can be delivered in either French or English.

A confirmation email will be sent to you in the days following your registration. The final validation of your registration will only be considered upon receipt of payment.

Upon arriving in Lyon, your first destination should be the iconic Place Bellecour. Here are directions from two different train stations. If you are departing from Lyon Part-Dieu Station, you can take bus C9 from the Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle stop, heading towards Bellecour Le Viste. Get off at the Bellecour Le Viste stop (this will take approximately 14 minutes). On the other hand, if you arrive at Lyon-Perrache Station, simply take metro line A in the direction of Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and exit at the Bellecour stop (this will take approximately 3 minutes).

Once you are at the Bellecour Le Viste bus stop, board bus C20/C20E heading towards Fort du Bruissin. Disembark at the La Plaine stop, then walk for approximately 7 minutes to reach your destination. Overall, the entire journey should take approximately 21 minutes.

Any school registration can be canceled and refunded until October 1st included. After this date, cancellation will not result in any fee refund.
